Thursday, January 31: Game Night in Cafe 18 from 6:00-9:00. We will be featuring Halo 3 on the projector screen, as well as Warhammer 40k table top games and other board and card games in the main part of Cafe 18. We always welcome new games of all kinds, so if you have a certain game that you would like to play, feel free to bring it with you.
The Warhammer 40k tournament that was held on Saturday, January 26th was an event worth checking out. The onslaught of the Tyranid army was too much for the united forces of the Sisters of Battle, Black Templars, Eldar, and Chaos. With the overwhelming numbers, strength and speed of the Tyranids, the United armies fell with ease. Only the main characters remained for the union at the end of the day for the Black Templars. With the Eldar army loosing on the Left flank, and the Sisters of Battle unable to hold the right flank, it was only a matter of time that the middle collapsed under a swarm of blood thirsty aliens. Special thanks to those who were able to play, and for those who helped set up and put away all of the terrain.
Friday, January 25th: The gallery crawl sponsored by Student Council and ESD help to raise the most money in the schools history, breaking the record of $1400 by a total of $1423. Half of the money raised is going to help the people of Louisiana rebuild their battered state. Special thanks to Ms Steeb for her continued support with Student Council and all of the members of ESD and Student Council.
The Book Store $50 raffle will be held this Friday, February 1st. You can purchase a raffle ticket from any Student council member, or stop by Ms Steebs desk. The raffle tickets are 1 for $1, 5 for $3, and 10 for $5. Good luck, and thank you for supporting Student Council

Great in '08
2007 was an exciting year for students here at PCI. Many events held by StuCo here at PCI helped to make the year very enjoyable. Some of which included Flag Football, Basketball, Dodge ball, the Halloween Party and Winter Formal, and game nights were just some of the events that took place throughout the year. Many of the Student Council members who made these events happen and who have been planning future events still need suggestions on which events that the student body enjoyed, and which events that they would like to have held. Throughout this year, I encourage all students to become involved more in the extracurricular activities held by Student Council. Most of these events are free, paid for by the hard work of your fellow students that are members of Student Council. Feel free to leave comments and ideas so that Student Council can better meet the requests of the students here at PCI. Have a great '08!
