December Events

• Thursday Dec. 10 Winter Snowball Dance in the Café 18. 6 to 9
• Blue Scarf’s Interviews to be held Monday Dec. 14 and Wednesday Dec. 16; on 15 in the STUCO office
• Knife Skills Competition- Saturday Dec. 12, only 20 spots available, sign-ups to start on Thursday Dec. 3rd, at 12:30 on the 15th floor office (first come first serve)
• Can Food Drive- STUCO will be sponsoring a can food drive the first week of Dec. Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated. (drop box coming soon)
• Open Mic Night- coming in Jan., this is your chance to show off your hidden talent, if you can sing, dance play an instrument or tell jokes we are looking for you to perform in this fun event!
• PCI shirts- coming soon
• Scholarships- Chef Hunt posts scholarships on the portal. Please remember to inform students on how they can get them.

November-December Events

· Can Food Drive- Stuco will be sponsoring a can food drive the first week of December. Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated. (drop box coming soon)
· Game Night Wednesday— Dec. 2 in the Library from 6-8pm
· Gingerbread House Decorating Contest- on Dec. 3 from
· 4-7pm in Café 18. If you would like to compete please contact Jesse at Jessemharding@hotmail.com. The competitors can be in teams of 2 or singles. There will be a limited amount of teams accepted, the first competitors to contact Jesse will be chosen with 2 alternates.
· Open Gym at the YMCA- Is happening again on Dec. 9th 6-8pm. Dodgeball/Basketball come out and have a great time!!
· Snowflake Ball (holiday party)- is Dec. 10th from 6-9pm, Formal attire recommended. (not required) LADIES this means prom dresses!!
· Open Mic Night– coming in January, this is your chance to show off your hidden talent, if you can sing, dance play an instrument or tell jokes we are looking for you to perform in this fun event!

· Scholarships: scholarships on the portal. Please remember to inform students on how they can get them.
· Computer Classes: Mr. Goreczny is hosting computer classes in the 15th floor computer lab.
· Reminder Students please remember to use the buddy system when walking home or walking to class. We want everyone to be safe.

OCTOBER EVENTS!!!

• School bus trip. KennyWood Fright Night!!! October 17th The bus will be paid for but students will be responsible for the $21.00 for admission. The bus will leave at 5:30 from the front of school and at 11:00 from Kennywood. Tickets will be on sale during lunch from Tuesday the 6th to Wednesday the 14th.

• Pumpkin Carving Contest: Oct 20th from 4pm to 7:30 pm in Café 18. If you have the carving talent then we want to see it! Pieces will sit in Café 18 for student voting and winner will be announced at the Wicked Halloween Dance!!!!! We will also have games there just like game night

• Halloween Dance: Oct 22nd The fun of open mic taken to the next level!!!!!! It will be in Café 18 from 5pm till 9pm. Costumes encouraged. We are working on activities, food and will be doing a costume contest.

Upcoming Events - September/October

· Knife Engraving: $2.00 for all your knives. Please contact Katelynn Zink (blue scarf) if any students are in need of engraving.
· Game Night: Sep 8th. Café 18 from 5pm to 8pm. Come play board games, x box, Warhammer 40k war strategy, and Texas holdem.
· Flag Football/Frisbee: Sep 16th. Point park from 5pm until dark
Halloween all October!!!!!!!!

August and September Events

· Knife Engraving: Thursday, Friday, and Monday during lunch from 11am to 12:30 pm. $2.00 for all your knives. This is a great way to ensure that your knife are not stolen!
· Game Night: September 8th. Café 18 from 5pm to 8pm. Come play board games, x box, Warhammer 40k war strategy, and Texas holdem.
· School bus trip. KennyWood! The bus will be paid for but students will be responsible for admission. We are planning on going in October for Fright night Haunted Park.
· Open Mic Night September 1st: Due to recent success we will be having another open mic night on September 1st. It will be in café 18 from 5 pm to 8 pm

· Steel Chef Pastry Competition: August 25th. All STUCO that did not attend flag football must attend. L8 kitchen 4:00-9:30

Upcoming Events

· Flag football 08/11/09 5:00pm at the Point park. We will be taking teams of six for tournament style event. We will also be doing tie dye for two dollars.
· School bus trip. Cedar Point! The bus will be paid for but students will be responsible for admission to the park. Food and drinks will be provided on bus trips. The admission will be $32.00 plus whatever extra money you wanna bring. The date is coming so be ready around the second half of August!!!!
· Due to recent success we will be having another open mic night on September 1st. It will be in café 18 from 6pm to 8pm
· Steel Chef Pastry Competition: August 25th. Sign up will start Monday and we will only be taking eight teams of two people and two alternate teams of two people. If you are interested see a blue scarf to get sign up and return to Larry in the 15th floor office from 12:30 to 4:30

· Chef Marziale is looking for bartenders to work a benefit at the Aviary on July 25th. If you are interested see Chef Marziale ASAP.
· July 27th: Open Mic Night. 6-8 pm in café 18. Bring your talents whatever they may be we want to see you!
· Up coming events. Flag football. We will be taking teams of seven for tournament style event. We will also be doing tie dye for two dollars. Time and location TBA. School bus trip. We are working on a trip to any of the following: Sandcastle, Cedar Point, Kennywood, A paintball location, or Ohio Pile whitewater rafting. The bus will be paid for but students will be responsible for admission to the park. Please take in class surveys to see which location students are most interested in.
